I traveled to Zion for the epic views and hikes but what I didn’t expect to find was the lively food scene that Springdale had to offer. With each restaurant I visited I was met with southwest flavors, quirky patios, and innovated approaches to traditional fare. I’ve rounded up some of the best restaurants near Zion for you. I would recommend any of these as I would have gone back to all if I had more time!
Zion Canyon Brew Pub at Zion Brewery
Dinner at Zion Canyon Brew Pub is a must while you’re visiting Zion National Park. They have a wide selection of brews for a micro brewery. I highly recommend ordering a flight of the tasters so you can try a few different beers before deciding on your favorite. What I loved most about the Zion Canyon Brew Pub was that they cook with their beer! Their clever menu incorporates their beer in ways such as beer batter and the sauces that topped the sandwiches and burgers! Their pub nachos with the stout bacon and jalapeno jam can’t be missed if you are dining at the Brew Pub!
Whiptail Grill
The Whiptail Grill is a fun place to stop into for dinner! It’s an old Texaco gas station turned restaurant! Their patio will have you sitting underneath the covering where the gas pumps used to be while overlooking the beauty of Zion. Whiptail Grill nailed the Southwest flavor I had been craving with with their grilled chicken sandwich, topped with jalapenos and garlic aioli. Highly recommend this as a stop for lunch or dinner!
FeelLove Coffee
FeelLove Coffee is new to the Zion area and if you are a coffee lover then this is where you should plan to stop in each morning! Their artisan menu included delicious lattes with uniquely combined flavors such as lavender, vanilla, and honey infused into the perfect morning treat. I rewarded myself with a different latte and pastry each morning after my hikes. Everything I tried was amazing! Their pastries are brought in fresh each morning from their flagship location in St George. Make sure to come in early before they sell out! My favorites were their Bay Latte and Valetta Latte, paired with their blackberry lavender scone or their Mary Jane, CBD Chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie!
Park House Cafe
Make sure to visit Park House Cafe for lunch while in the Zion area! I enjoyed a great hand pattied cheese burger and a delicious mango bellini while listening to throw backs and taking in the views from the quirkiest patio in town! I loved that they served fresh fruit with each meal. So perfect for cooling off in the dry dessert heat!
Bit & Spur
Bit and Spur was one of my favorite meals while visiting Zion. I’m not sure if it was the refreshing white wine sangria paired with their fresh mango salsa fish tacos, or their delicious made from scratch mixed berry crisp that did it for me, but Bit and Spur is a restaurant near Zion that should not be missed!
Cafe Soleil
If you are looking for a solid breakfast spot while visiting Zion make sure to stop at Cafe Soleil! They have a patio with a view as well as indoor dining available. If you are looking for a healthy and refreshing treat I highly recommend their berry and beet smoothie!
